The Selfar Team Attends LEAP 2024, the Largest Event in Saudi Arabia

The Selfar team visited the largest investment and digital exhibition in Riyadh, LEAP 2024, which took place from March 4 to 7, 2024. Selfar is a product of Nijam Lab, and representatives from both companies were present at LEAP.

The exhibition boasted over 700 exhibitors from 76 countries around the world, attracting more than 170,000 visitors during its run.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for market research, finding strategic partners, and securing contracts. Selfar is now entering the Saudi Arabian market, with our product already present in the UAE and Russia," says Selfar Founder Nikita Mosin.

According to the Selfar team, this is the largest technology event the company has participated in, having previously attended investment and digital events in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Barcelona, and Berlin.

"In terms of organization and quality, LEAP 2024 tops my personal ranking. The space was divided into sectors, but three days weren't enough for me to visit all the stands. The atmosphere was very conducive to networking," notes Nikita Mosin. "We've reaffirmed our hypothesis that there are no direct competitors to our product in the market. There are similar offerings, but the ideas and technology significantly differ."

During LEAP, Selfar conducted about a dozen important negotiations with potential partners and investors.

"It's a decent outcome, but the exhibition lacked our direct buyers - representatives of malls, sports teams, entertainment, and cinema sectors. There were also many contacts from companies we'll meet after the event when things are less busy. So, LEAP has a deferred effect. I'm confident in the results," says Nikita Mosin.

The company is particularly interested in partnering with owners of commercial spaces in shopping centers, PR managers, owners of entertainment centers, sports stadiums, sports team managers, sports event organizers, large museums, parks, and attractions.

Founder of Selfar Nikita Mosin also shared his thoughts on what he felt was missing at LEAP 2024.

"It would have been great if there were community managers at the event to organize informal meetings and introductions. I also would've appreciated more convenience with transportation - schedules, tracking in a mobile app, etc. It would have been handy to share contacts in the app and scan a QR code to get all the necessary contacts at each stand," Mosin reflects.

Overall, LEAP 2024 was a landmark event for Selfar and Nijam lab, and the company representatives are confident that the impact of their participation will be long-lasting.
